It is a lake, pretty big at least if I were to define it. I have an aversion for lakes, I am more of a sea person, it has to do with the salty smell, the rough waves and that the water changes. Lakes has neither of these but I still really enjoyed Schlachtensee. I even decided that next time - going in to my knees will not be quite enough but I will swimm in it.
The fact some pretty sweet people were there, the people watching was fun and that the bike ride took us through pretty landscape and amazing houses most certainly made this day even better. For now - Schlachtensee is the first thing to make me really like Berlin - can't wait to go there again.
