Schwabylon München

This amazing building was a shopping mall and youth center in Munich - with shops, a club, a swimming pool, ice skating rink, restaurants, and arcades - it was built in the early 1970'ies - and the architect was Justus Dahinden. It wasn't a success - don't ask me why ?! It looks amazing, but it was closed sometime end 1979 - it cost 160 million deutsche Mark to build it and it was a failure but some of it is still there - such as the underground swimminpool area - this is too school - really !
