When I saw this part of the Celine Winter 2013 Collection at Colette in Paris in September this year my heart jumped and I immediately got a grin on my face.
Phoebe Philo is doing some pretty great work I must say - for me these pieces stand out because they capture the massive check trend combines it with a focus on checks which for me resemble the bag's you see on the turkish markets or carried around by the bag ladies. The simplicity is stunning and the slip on is already taking over "fashion blogger land" so it seems like I am not the only one liking this stuff.
