Norwegian Design - The way I see it Norway is the black sheep in the Scandinaian design family. We are not as slim, sleek, minimalistic and black as the Danes and Swedes. We never really took part in the less is more trend at least not within fashion and as my fashion professors at school (in Copenhagen) use to say Norwegians have weird taste in fashion :) We also love highstreet fashion - and are slightly americanized with all our super malls and chain stores but hey there is change in sight and I must honestly admit that I am fascinated by norwegian traditions and our loyalty to it. The fact is that there are a lot of things happening in Norway when it comes to architecture and design we just don't need to share this with anyone ... But this blog is really interesting and here are some of the pictures they posted on norwegian knit - which has undertaken a revolutionary stand the past years especially thanks to Arne & Carlos who are too kool for this world !
If anyone out there knows them, please tell them that I went "berserk" at Urban outfitters when their collaboration was out and that I would donate my foot to charity to work with them :)
